TWO DAYS THAT HAVE CHANGED THE LIFE ... YOUNG the young AC retired diocesan Lent
13 and March 14 the youngest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ravenna-Cervia were found in the Apennines to Bologna to Castel del Rio participate in the retirement of the diocesan Lent. There were many years that the team does not diocesan Youth Department organized a two days for high school boys, but this year we launched our educational enterprise, supported mainly by our diocesan assistant Don Paolo Pasini.
If I had to write this article in January 2010, was an article full of doubts and misgivings, fear to make a hole in the water was great, but today is the happiest teacher in the world. We managed to involve some sixty high school boys, from 5 parishes of our diocese (Malva-Cervia, St. Peter Damian, St. Blaise, Marina di Ravenna, St. Mary of the Tower), the boys were more than we expected, because the bus we had booked was not enough and we had to take a 9 seater minibus to bring up children, in short, the withdrawal had not yet begun, but for me this was already a great success, because the thought of fail to cover the cost of the bus scared me so much!
the afternoon activities began quietly, the boys were very shy, did not know and were afraid to expose their thoughts, but after dinner we all gathered in the tavern, which for the occasion had been emptied and the floor was covered with rugs and blankets, the boys are seated, silent and have so began our vigil. The passage of the Gospel call of Levi and the charisma of Don Stefano Zanella, Assistant Regional Youth Department, made a miracle ... after waking the boys began to mingle, make friends.
The adrenaline in my body and that of the boys was sky high and, despite the gallons of camomile offered before coricasi, sleep was slow in coming, but education of this Youth has been so great, nobody came out of their rooms and those who could not sleep or play snipe have talked to his room. The night was long and a few hours of sleep, but the next morning there were the forces and assets are taken with great enthusiasm.
The best moment of Sunday morning was the walk to the bridge Alidosi, a humpbacked bridge from the late Middle Ages, the bridge is very high and the slope of the road that crosses the lot is also the view of the bridge completely covered with snow and the landscape that surrounds it whitened, it is very impressive and then the laughter of the guys that came up in the middle of bridge, but slipped because of the snow that covered the cobblestones, warm the heart. This exciting walk is even more vibrant and young adults when they started the battle with snowballs ... Bombs were thrown on him in all white, and the first to embark on this activity release were educators, what an example of righteousness! Well we had fun and very tired, wet and hungry we went back home and we sat at the table, where we brushed all that our fantastic cooks, and Lina Rina, had cooked.
And how it could be concluded if not a retreat with a Mass ?!?!?
After lunch, so calm and polite we packed the small church adjoining the house and we gathered in prayer for preparaci to repeat the gestures of communion that Jesus himself taught us. A Mass alive, felt and made even more special surprise arrival of Don Alberto, whom we thank for his role in this withdrawal of Lent, in fact, his arrival has given the opportunity to confess to those who, because of shyness or hesitation, he had not confessed on Saturday.
What you have just read is not enough to understand the many emotions we felt at the Rio Castrelo ????? View photos !!!!! And even if those laws are short enough for you comments guys !!!!! .... You are not yet satisfied?? Well because we were good, we would like to repeat the experience, so ... the next time you come, too!!

WITHDRAWAL OF DIOCESAN
I THINK ... "They were 24 hours dedicated to the family atmosphere of Balotta room, 24 hours full of moments in which to bring the word of the Lord, were 24 hours that I have greatly enriched as a person and as an entertainer. "
Louis " Despite The roommate was not inclined to sleep and then I had to recover the hours of sleep in the days following this experience was not at all heavy (which I feared a lot), in fact I really enjoyed and I managed to settle in easily , although there were people who did not know. "
Ross
" I slept and ate well (also because one of the cooks was my grandmother), unfortunately I was not sharing in the very moments of sharing in the group, but because I will refer I hope that this experience can be repeated. "Federico
" What I bring in from these two days is the wonderful experience of confrontation with others in moments of reflection, as I was well I'll be very happy to participate in another experience like that. "
Giulia
" Saturday and Sunday we children of the Catholic Diocese of Ravenna-Cervia we gathered to pass the weekend together in Castel del Rio. We spent a day to have fun, know each other better and to strengthen our faith journey. During the retreat we had further meetings with children from other parishes. The withdrawal was, in particular, the theme of change and forgiveness and it is on these two topics that we did a lot of reflection. During the meetings we talked and shared our ideas and moments of prayer alternated even those of fun. It 'been a very addictive and withdrawal as well as to amuse us made us reflect on the behaviors that we adopt in our daily life. Hopefully there are others in the future. "
Nisia, Anthony, Matthew " The withdrawal has been interesting, I really enjoyed working in groups and boys also know of other parishes. " Giulia
